About Olivier Atangana
Olivier Atangana is a Cryptocurrency Researcher at Fime (France) and holds a PhD in Computer Science from ENSICAEN / University of Normandy, where he conducted research on secure digital payment systems and offline-capable Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).
His research and professional activities focus on digital currencies, digital identity, secure payment systems, applied cryptography, privacy-enhancing technologies, fraud detection, and trusted digital infrastructures. He combines academic research, industrial innovation, and contributions to professional communities working on the future of digital finance and digital trust.
Olivier is an Expert at the Digital Euro Association, contributing to working groups and industry studies related to digital currencies and financial regulation. He co-authored the industry reports:

In addition to his research activities, Olivier serves as a Visiting Lecturer in Network Security at ENSICAEN, contributes as a reviewer for international scientific venues, and actively participates in professional communities including the Digital Euro Association, GlobalPlatform, and the FIDO Alliance FEWG EU Digital Identity Wallet Working Group.
